Residual dirt analysis Recorded proof of purity for maximum safety

Dirt particles on sealing components and C-parts can cause damage to the end product in sensitive industries such as pharmaceutical and medical technology as well as in the semiconductor industry and are therefore a source of errors that must be prevented. In addition to the operation of clean rooms, the production and guarantee of consistently clean components also requires quality assurance of the end product.

A crucial process to ensure the highest purity standards

A component that has been cleaned in a cleanroom is not necessarily clean. At the customer's request, Sealtech can use a laser-based process to create a precise, highly efficient and reliable analysis of how many particles are still on the product after cleaning. With this test, we are able to precisely determine the number and size of dirt particles on the component in the measuring range of 0.9-150 µm.   The measurement results can then be recorded and sent to the customer.

Why a residual dirt analysis is worthwhile

  • 1

    Precise particle detection

The method enables the precise determination of particle sizes directly on the final product.
  • 2

    Gentle sampling

The particles are measured from the surface without damaging the component, which is particularly advantageous for sensitive components.
  • 3

    Avoiding cross-contamination

The method minimizes the risk of contamination during measurement.
  • 4

    Efficient Analysis

The laser-based measurement is fast and provides immediate results, which does not delay the production process.
  • 5

    Reliable documentation

The measurements are precise and are recorded to ensure complete traceability and proof of purity.
